Language across curriculum

Mind the heading, its a phrase i learnt from my English lecture, this morning.. Oyeah before i start telling my tale to you peeps out there.. here's a short reply..

The Tale

Im so tired today, but it wont hold me, to post something on this blog. Seriously wednesday is ain't my favourite day of the week. Early morning i got 2hrs of lecture on Bahasa Melayu and 2hrs of Lecture on English and continue another hr for English tutorial. Guess what? Its from 8am to 1pm; Non-Stop.. haha isnt that sweet.. Well there you have it, my respond on my day.

The First Expression

Most first expressions will be a fault judgement. Today is my first meeting with my "chosen" ECA (I cant display the name here, its link with PMUBD Laws and Regulations, say something off the limits, is equal to "I DIE", if you really want to knoe what my ECA is, Just PM me.). I was being desperate, to get an ECA for this semester; From what I heard, ECA is compulsory for my course and bla bla bla they said i need it to get my Diploma bla bla bla to get job secure. Oh well what the hack~ for my own security, why dont i just join one ECA. Well it wont kill me or hurt me or anything, wait.. errr well it does sacrifice my sleeping time (i usually sleep afternoon hrs, especially wednesday =p) darn. Well I came early. The meeting venue, was somewhere around CLT building. The meeting is not that really so·phis·ti·cat·ed, no prepare agenda or anything, he said this meeting is not formal (I thought it was a formal meeting for newbies stoing~). I was really lost about this ECA thingi and on the meeting. He didnt actually explain whats this organisation do, aims and etc. My mind was trigering negatively about joining this ECA. But after sometime, i get a hang on thing run around this organisation. To be fair on my second judgement on this ECA, I finally state that "This ECA is not bad."

Our Ideas was blooming greatly on our comming event, the grand opening of this eca thingi discussions, well just to give a little hint, we are doing Newsletter Online and newspaper column. So we were planning about it and divided into groups. The guys plus three girls are incharge on Roadshows (including me), Three girls incharge on Banners, the other three girls incharge on adverstising poster, flyers etc. and lastly Online advertisment done by me :D just uploading some ad- on the internet. I was actually having fun. This guys are so active and hilarious. Sadly they are all my seniors, so i kind a feel small beside them. Few of them i knew from soasc, (my senior) Teo, Hamiz, Rawi, and Aywen etc. We talk-talk a lot, points; ideas and we found the conclusion too. Here's the catch, Teo and I get to see the unfinish secret "project" for extra information on our ideas. and again. i cant spread the words to you guys. or ill be doom. and guess what i've been told i would get paid if i did some articles. Isnt that sweet? and again we have a Office at H.E.P Building. Well not literally our office. We share the room with the other ECA Club. And we strictly cant use it on wednesday. So on saturday i'll be going there for my 2nd meeting with the gang. The events are comming so soon.. i mean its really close so, we need to do the work fast. Dont worry i divide my ECA time and my Core work already. last but not least, "I Love my ECA and the gang and i have 20 new friends in less then 3 hrs :D

The Past

I went to the recreational park last Sunday, with Hamdi, Ismail and the Zul Twins. I was invited by hamdi to join his Sister (Ka Mas) and her friends Bufday BBQ celebration. We took some time walking on the beach. Muiz and his GF, Neena was amazingly there too. Got bullied by them, they really love to tease me. We took some photo there. Its a great momment to remmember btw. :D After that we head to Lambak kiri Mosque for our Asar Prayer and off we went to the grand opening of Seri Qlap Mall.

I want a small laptop eh, i want to buy acer ferrari 1000, but then i still love this laptop hehe. oyeah i want to get the acer power 1000 or 2000. pretty nice desktop PC :D its small. I learn Mandarin language on BBC page, quite good eh.. Miss See even gave me links to a great website for me to help me with Mandarin language. Oyeah im going to take Mandarin Language as my elective, instead Korean L. I presume learning mandarin has greater future value in Brunei cummunity in term of cummunication with chinese people here. About Korean language, maybe someday, insyallah.. night class will do.. Aza Aza fighting!~ Liat korean seires and drama ada subtitle jua kan.. so ok lah haha. okeh need to stop now, need to type the emails and phone no. of my ECA members and send it to them. and i need to do some reading on Psychology and English and continuing my Math lesson plan.

Life Ahead

Uni life is full of adventure, with people like the people who i hang out everyday just made my day wonderful. The thing that holding my harmony back with them is this load full of work needed to be settle with their deadline in few weeks. I have 5 core subjects with 4 core subs wants me to do peer teaching, 2 need school observations, All cores need severals essay writting to submit and lesson plan with context of teaching aids, and yeah we need to prepare the teaching aids too, and lastly Tests and Exams will always be there at the very end which we will soon and later will have to sit it too. I'm busy and we cant escape the fact that I have to do it all, it's my work and it part of my job, so im not going to complain what UBD are doing to me, although you could say its too much for every human who would reality hold a lot of work like that in small time to complete the mission, but i have to say pain is plessure. Someday you'll know why are you here, and why are doing it. Honestly i didnt choose this pathway, i wish i had some othere alternative, sometimes i feel that this course doesnt fit me, but then, i, through a lot of agenda with the professor and every lectures and advices from them, i have to admit i had fallen in love with this course. Pity me. I had drop my spainish language. I cant deny on the fact that i have a lot of work to finish. It was a dilemma to choose continuing S.L or not. but i had choosen to sacrifce spanish language, and im proud because i made a good decision. Leaving Spanish language means to leave two great friends, Grace and Wanie.. they are so funny girl.. unique and fun fun girl haha. gonna miss you guys very much.Think postive, ill see them again. UBD ain't that big =)

Uni Life is not so great and fun, Yes but why do i feel positive about it. Honestly I have new great comrades, got this three girls and a guy that hang around my corner (max having 12 hrs and less with them.) Although they cant replace my past friends, But having new friends like them are so enjoying. They fill the emptiness of my life. We enjoy the jokes we played each other. Farah the arabian haha, i like to argue with her, shes not a typical girl, Ika, her body language and they way she move is so funny, shes just too cute i guess, Shal waduh~ when she jokes around its just like watching senario. Lastly zul, all i do is tease the girl but him, what wrong with him, he have no job rather then teasing me.. and me as usual my sarcastic, laser lingo and my so call image consultant for them. everyday i wont miss laughing with them. Stress with works, a good laugh is just like a medicine for us. besides them i do have several friends in mind, that also made my day in ubd, So i guess UNi life is not so bad at all. i enjoy it.

Canteen food is getting much better, talking about food im getting en'large haha i hate this... i dont look handsome but cute haha dont worry i wont be paranoid about my so call enlarge. Im forcing my tummy on a disipline schedule.. but it doesnt work i guess... hehe i try next lah :P My sleeping schedule is not normal, i usually slept in the evening, and i usually woke up at 3-4 am in the morning. Usually arrived school at 6am or 7am. buy nasi katok @ kg kiulap and off i speed towards UBD, it took less then 10 mins to reach the destination. The thing that i love going to school early is because theres no a lot of cars, no no certain ghost wondering around too on the roads, so i usually speed average of 150km/hr. Its the darn car that move fast, i did try to slow down, but then the car just font feel right.. I wish i had a Merc.. lagi nyaman drive :D

I love shoping alone.. buying new underwear is nice too~ Knit boxer and Brief is my Fav. less short boxer haha ok that too much info i guess hahaha. Back to my shoping story, i usually slip my card using my Visa~ its funs especially signing the reciept. and yes i collect them haha, and later back at home ill just check my internet banking, how much balance left. This semester i end up buying new books and in future ill be buying new teaching aid materials in malay its call the "alat bantu mengajar". I bought several korean DVDs too :D korean movies and seires become my fav. this day.. oyeah talking about buying stuff, i just bought my first domain name :D sweet. I paid 7.50$US using my MasterCard. I got the Zenith Empire name from a dictionary. it sound nice right? hmm i need to buy a new cooling pad too, my old one is not working anymore.. sigh... cant go omlne 247 nie.. AMD so heat fast :(

Oyeah although my 2nd year in Ubd is still far, but i was planing to learn and take korean language as my Elective. but in the same time, i also want to learn mandarin language. So i decided to take Korean in UBD morning course, while Mandarin someday in the future, night class at UBD. i want to marry chinese girl full stop :D My life is like a low profile guy, i dont have gossip, story or anything, its much peacefull now.. and i like it, its like, me, my life with ubd works and Friends.. thats all yeah. I wish i could have sumone but the time havent arrive yet..

Ok i better go now, con't chat'n with shafs, oyeah we got plan this summer, menjadi kah inda? inda ku tahu, KL vs Ferry :D ok till then see you.. but dinner at Empire is a must, it will be my bonus review for my website. shafs if ur reading this spread the words to zan, yush, minul and meriam, gtau celebrate di empire :D inda jadi ilotus. xcept mun ku kapih CA mohammad ja haha. reunion: me and lufbra isnt that cute? lain kali lagi group chat sma durang, habis exam and wifi kamu bisai inda gauk. Soon this URL will be use as my website of Reviews of Brunei Darussalam Restaurants plus my Blog hehe, a non-profitable website, i dont mind if they chip me some $$ bling bling for advertising their restaurants.. its base on recomended restaurants around brunei by myself, family, frens and people, trying to focus 1st around brunei muara district area. I'll be needing few volunteeer to be my crew on hunting most of the restaurant in brunei. dont worry my UBD frens like to go out eat at random restaurants already. Im doing this because, im trying to promote Brunei tourism 2008, focusing Brunei resturants. If things goes well, i ll might even add my areas on Hotels in brunei, but in that case i need more $$ because i really need to spend a night and day in the hotel to give a great deal of reviews on the hotels. if everything is great i might upgrade my FTP server hosting more. more spaces and bandwith
