This page (powered by Blogger; Thank You Blogger, Love you) have been online since I started my blogging hobby on Saturday afternoon, 9^th September 2004. I begin very active in online activities since then. My dial-up connection or my internet connection was “sponsored” by my friend, Wong Ren Siang (Thank you, miss you, haha). After that I got my dial up connection underground in 2005 for a year, which I refer it as connection haram era. On Monday, 23^rd of October 2006, I registered a broadband connection and by Saturday afternoon, 28^th of October 2006 my broadband connection is heavenly established in my House. Bad side of having broadband connection is, I got to pay for it monthly BN$98.

I bought my domain at luckyregister.com for US$6.95 + Proxy Domain for US$?.??. This roughly cost me about BN$13.00. *proxy domain is to keep your true identity away from crazy people who’s checking your domain using whois site.

Zenith Empire

I was lost on choosing what name to be used for my URL domain name. I asked few friends of mine, on helping me to choose my domain. In the end I end up finding the domain name by myself. I scroll my dictionary to find a very unique and decent name. Finally I found Zenith. I planned to buy zenith.com, but it was rather very short. I come across few words and I end up adding Empire at Zenith. To me, zenith-empire.com is a very nice name, title or URL.

Zenith mean:

The time when something is most successful; at the higest point, state or peak; culmination

Empire mean:

A group of countries that are controlled by one ruler or government.

So "Zenith Empire" mean:

Empire that reached its zenith.

Objective

Simply to record some memoir in my life, happy, sad or random stuff that I would like to share to the readers.

The Philosophy of Zenith Empire V7.2

I love collection of philosophy books journal; and love reading them. What I write on my blog is base on what’s inside my mind. So this is something to do with my own philosophy.

The Theme is Black and Orange with popcorn picture on the left side and down the right you’ll find movie tickets. Basically this template is created by someone I don’t know, she created on her self attention of creating movie blog template.

v7 is the year published. Meaning v7 is released on the year 2007

Profile

I love who I am, despite who I really am physically; it doesn’t really bother me to like myself for who I am and for what I’m not. Although I feel bless about what I have now, but I’m still trying to improve myself from time to time and gain something good in life.

Who?

Hai my name is Abdul Walid Misli. Most (all) people would address me as Walid for the 1^st time. Except occasionally some of my past English mother tongue teachers address me as Abdul. It’s not wrong for me to say my name mutated over some period of close relations with others. People started to call me as Lit or longer pronunciation which is Liiiiid. I do have several names that I would like people to address me, such as Alids; for me Alids is simple and cute, literally I prefer girls to call me by that name. Actually Alids is part of my signature. Having the letter ‘W’ in my name is really hard to create something beautiful in your signature. If you have seen my signature, the letter ‘A’ was not originally design or invented by my own explore and investigation. I found the design back in 1999, when I was in my Religious School, somewhere in Serusop Village. I was reading one of my Religious books back then, which is Tarikh (History) Primary Three. There was a written name on the 2^nd page. A name of someone who may be had used the book before me. The craving of the letter ‘A’ was fascinating. From there I started to learn the letter and eventually till now, I had used the design for my signature. I love it, and and don’t think I would change my primary signature in the future.

Some friends call me as Dilaw, as a result of reversible letter on Walid. My Spanish mate used to address me as Sebastian Alonso Garcia. I have a Chinese name Míng Lǐ dé (明礼德) given by Chinese friend of mine. Surname Ming – Misli ; Name Li De – Walid.

Looks?

Interesting fact about me is, most people found me to be not Malay. The 1^st time to go to a saloon or any services that requires my interaction, they always get me wrong to be a Chinese. Sometimes I do get proud to be call as Chinese, as I’m not truly one of them. But repeating the echo in my brain which is basically not true, sometimes it does make me feel sad too. Basically I don’t have any ancestor who I happen to be a Chinese blood.

Family?

Parents + 2 elder Sister + a Brother + Me + 2 little Sisters = My Family. Simple right? I don’t want to talk about my family, it’s just too detail and I tend to write something that creates over proud-ness. LoL

Religion?

I’m a Muslim. Islam is my religion. But whoever you are, Christian or any religion in this world except one religion (J). You are considered to be a friend of mine.

Education?

I’m currently doing my Diploma in Primary Education course, at Universiti of Brunei Darussalam (UBD); still in my 1^st year and in my 2^nd semester. Before I settle there, I used to go to Sultan Omar Ali Saifudien College (Bandar Seri Begawan) for my Lower and Upper Six form. That era is when I learn all about growing up and I learnt about life. That’s the best moment too because I met a great teacher which we refer her as KillerAngel. I did my full Secondary school at Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Abu Bakar, located at Lambak Kanan Village. That school was a time of fun and craziness I guess. I treat most of Teachers, Liberians, Lab Technicians, Canteen people as my Friends. They are all cool. They still remember me till now. Ceh~ is so proud eh. I guess I miss them and I do love them very much. They made sparks in my life too. Primary school; for my upper primary I did it at Sekolah Rendah Pantai Berakas (Government School). While for my lower primary, I did it in London, UK. International Community School (I.C.S). Religious Schools: I keep changing my religious school, 1^st: Sekolah Ugama Pantai Berakas. Then for my primary 3 and 4, I went to a Religious School somewhere in Serusop Village. Then back to Sekolah Ugama Pantai Berakas for Primary 5, and lastly my religious ended at Sekolah Ugama Orang Kaya Imas Besar somewhere in Subok in 2002.

What I like?

I like people, and young kids. They are so cool people. I like girls with tudongs, and oriental people for instant Chinese girls. I love watching movies and dramas. I’m into comedies and romance. Sad stories are so not my thing. My recent favorite series is My girl (Korean), Full house (Korean) and Umizaru (Japanese). Besides watching something, I also like to listen to Music. Music and I is inseparable. I’m so international in picking my favorite singer. My Ideal singer is Jay Chou. I love him for being who he is. His life stories from child to now inspired me in music discovery. Beside that I love his music and vocal. I like Il Divo too, a “Choir” type of singers who originated from different part of the world founded by Simon Cowell. I guess all genres in Jay Chou Albums (music) are my favorite’s music genre.

I love Pizza and Pepsi drink. I also like Nasi Katok (Wrapped Rice + Chiken + Sambal) and Satay. Ok honestly I love all fast food. I love to cook, seldom. I make my own pizza sometimes besides dialing the pizza company to deliver the pizza. I learned to cook since I was small let just say around 10 year old. The reason is when we were little (me and my siblings), mummy and daddy used to have occasionally meetings and function at the high commissioner. So we learn to be independent. I usually watch my sister cook. We never have a maid in our life. Mum is getting old, Sister planning to get us our 1^st maid. So this will be a different experience in the future. Actually I don’t like this maid coming to our house. It doesn’t feel “comfortable”. I can cook anything I guess. From Fried, to Curry, to Soya Sauce, To Tomato, to sweet and spicy dishes etc. I do know how to cook Cake, coz I usually watch my mum create Cake, I had only bake cake like very few times I guess. It’s been 5 years I haven’t bake anything haha too lazy I guess.

Besides eating, I love to travel to different part of the world. I’ve been to several part of the world already. That is around Europe, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. I’m looking forward to travel to US, New Zealand, Shanghai, Beijing, Hongkong (China;P.R.OC), Taipei (Taiwan; R.O.C), Japan and South Korea. I like to travel alone, it feel like adventure. Someday I’ll travel with some of my friends. I don’t like to travel with my dad. Every time I traveled with him, everything is in rush.

Although sports are not the thing to me, but I’m one of Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC and Reading FC fan. I only watch several matches that I think worth to watch.

Having a brother who is really good in computers can be infectious. His the one who build up my likes into the world of technologies. I usually mess up his computer and his the one who end up fixing it. Glad to be part of IT world. I love to blog. The end

My favorite author when I was small is Enid Mary Blyton. Love her book when I was still a child, used to read most of her book in UK. By the year 1996, I stop reading her books. These days my favorite author is J.K.Rowling. Love the Porters book of her creation. Dan Brown have been a wonderful author, unfortunately my English is so poor that I can’t understood one of his novel that is, the Da Vinci Code novel. Specifically i love reading psychology books even journals. Reading those sorts of books trigger my mind very well.

Language experience?

My mother tongue is Malay, I can also speak English moderately. I’m one of Brunei Speaker Club in 2004; I also learned Spanish language in my 1^st semester at UBD. I took Spanish language because influence by Il Divo Standard language (They have several languages in their music, such in English, Italian, Spanish, French, and Latin). Sadly my 2^nd semester was tough, so I had to drop my Spanish language. So as a result of my short experience in learning Spanish, I can only understand some words. Now I’m looking forward to take mandarin language. I believe that mandarin language is very useful; Brunei is a multi culture country. Chinese also have a large community in Brunei, so it’s great if I could speak in their language. Besides that, I may travel to Taiwan or China. Marrying to a chinese women won’t be a problem to me if I know her language.

I have a lot of friends, my Berakas Camp friends, My Ex-SMSAB friends, My SOASC Friends, My UBD-an friends and many more. The end

Love Life?

Love has been bad to me. Most of the time, I experience sadness in the end of my love chapter. The girl that I really fallen in love have been despair. Honestly I still keep on thinking of her, but I know she never knew how much she means to me. “I love you in silence, for in silence I found no rejection”. Let just say I can’t feel the love that I had devoted few years ago. The feeling of loving and giving someone love is a difficult task for me. I guess having a relationship in this world is not an important role in this world. Ever since my lecturer said, high population of teachers in Brunei Darussalam is still in their single state. My self esteem is torn in the world called love. I guess I’ll be one of them in the future. Being single doesn’t mean you can’t add your new responsibility, let just say as a Father. Insyaallah If my dream was true, if it’s part of my déjà vu or fate, I’ll be please with it no matter what. What I had seen in my dream was I being a single father, raising a adopted child on my own is something wonderful to be experience besides normal couple raising their own child. Gosh am I talking nonsense here. If you can really feel what I’m explaining here, I guess you’ll understand me. My commitment right now are, my own pleasure, my family with friends and my work in context with my life.
