Hello there, I was chating with my Bro Yesterday, and he told me that he havent switch off his Laptop for three days, impressive right?! *if u think im a geek in computer, My bro is like 5times geek-er then me haha* its make me curious, especially laptops which is running with an AMD proccessor, *they overheat faster then Intel processor* how can an AMD processor can stand up to three days? common if the the procesor overheated i doubt the Laptop would crash or automaticly shutdown it self. So i ask him, how did he do it? So he told me he had been using an Utilty which control the speed of the processor, better known as the CLock. The Clock of Computer controls the speed of the processor, eventually it also controls the voltage. So to make its simple for you guys, lowering the speed of the processor can decrease the heat made from the Processor and decrease the use of the Current/battery. so low voltage low heat jualah.. dont knoe sal physic nie HAHAHA :) this is a great news for you guys, especialy for those who just bought a new Laptop recently, well im going to tell you about the evolution of Acer laptop 1st, Recently the new intel duo core processor had been launched early this year, and acer laptop had been putting it into several of their new computer models. with this new intel board and processor, Acer Co. also updated their Acer empowering technolgy, and the one that i want to hightlight is the the Epower, This Epower managemnt in the new acer empowering technology is a Utility that can control the speed of your dua core processor and basicly it control the consumption of your battery, but please do take notes that.. decreasing the clock (speed) of the processor will also make your PC slow.. The Great thing about using the acer Epower is, it has a ideal volatge use for each specific speed clock, so u wont have problem with Crashes becoz of low voltage consumption.. I have to admit i crash my laptop more than ten times yesterday, becoz my voltage was too low to deal with my speed proccesor clock. For me, my utilty is base on Manual. Theres no simple click like the one in Epower, i have to config the speed n the voltage by myself, and i have to say their must have a slightly balance between them. but i guess you wont be worrying about it with your new laptop. Coz your utility is the easy utility u can find in the world of software :P Beside that i have an new Icon for my Battery! it look more cuter then the window battery icon :P oyeah.. i knoe.. the new model of acer has a cuter version of window battery managemnt too.. i usually get envy on Judeen laptop. Just for your info there'll be 2 new models of acer Ferrari, maybe next year it will out.. the best about those two laptop (the 5000 n the 1000 seires) is they will be using the new AMD duo Core 64bits.,, WOW!! thats FAST!! oh well im stuck with these laptop for 5 yrs before i buy a new one :P My counter is still running baby~ so basicly right now im trying to find a WIFi utility.. nada yg free bah, yg free bida tah jua.. terlalu simple.. i just want a new icon for my Wifi.. btw laptop ku nda panas LOL
